By downloading, installing, or using the Pushtika application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose

Pushtika provides an offline-first reading experience for Bengali stories and novels. Content is made available for personal reading. The App is distributed outside Google Play and may receive updates through the in-app update mechanism or the official website.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App lawfully. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or publicly re-host book files or covers obtained through the App except as permitted by the licence of each individual work
• Attempt to disrupt the public API, Admin systems, or other users
• Use the App to distribute malware or engage in illegal activity

3. Content and licences

Individual works may carry their own copyright and licence notices. The App displays metadata supplied by the operator. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and store each work under applicable law and the work’s licence.

4. Updates

The operator may publish application updates. Optional updates may be declined. When a minimum supported version is declared, older versions may be required to update before continued use of certain features.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and catalog content are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The operator does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the App.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
